Stonelux antique stone

Initially ordered colour swatches, and some sample pots before finalising colour choice, for a garage repaint. These arrived quickly, good quality and the sample pots helped, no-end in letting us see how the coating went on, and how it would look in-situ.

The colour swatches were well prepared but having to pay £2 a pop makes an expensive paint even more pricy. I also bought a sample pot of the fireplace paint. Was surprised to see that three coats are needed (as per sample pot), doesn’t say that on the website. Using a brush I couldn’t get a finish that looked like anything but a paint with some grit in it (which is what it is). Using a brush and roller I was able to achieve a better finish. Does it look like stone? Thats subjective. To the extent any textured paint looks like stone, it does. My client wasn’t convinced so I never got the opportunity to try the paint on a larger area.
