Composition
- Water-based Formula: Eco-friendly and low odour. Clean equpment with with water.
Application
- Suitable for Exterior use.
- Suitable for application onto porous blocks and slabs. NOT SUITABLE FOR NON-POROUS & SEALED SURFACES.
Durability and Ease of Maintenance
- Do not clean the surface for 4 weeks after application to ensure the stain has fully hardened and set.
- Due to the exposure to weathering and foot traffic, blocks and slabs may require annual maintenance. Resistant to fading, chipping and peeling.
- Easy to clean with mild detergent and water.
Coverage and Application
- Up to 8 meters squared
per litre. - Apply with brush or roller.
Drying Time
- In normal drying
conditions surface is walkable after a few hours
Availability
- Offered in a range of sizes: 75ml, 1 litre, 2.5 litres, and 5 litres.

- Preparation: Before starting your project, ensure the surface is clean, sound, and dry. If you're working on pre-painted or glossy surfaces, sand them to create a suitable key for the paint. Any damage should be repaired with a suitable filler.
- Application: Stir Brick Coating well before use. Apply using an economy natural bristled brush, foam roller, or spray equipment. Full coverage is typically achieved with three coats. Some original brick shading may be retained with fewer coats, allowing for various aesthetic preferences. Be careful to avoid overspreading and
refrain from over-brushing or rolling. If brush marks remain visible, finish the surface with stippling. Allow 2-3 hours of drying time between each coat. Allow 2-3 hours of drying time between each coat. - Spraying: If you choose to spray the paint, use a minimum nozzle size of 1.8mm. The paint can be diluted with no more than 20% water for spraying applications.
- Finishing: After applying the final coat, ensure that the paint is fully dry before touching or applying any pressure to the surface. The paint should be touch dry before applying subsequent coats.
The final colour of Block Paving Stain depends on the original substrate colour and its porosity. Colours displayed on screen will vary due to the limitations of digital colour representation and individual display settings. Not good unfortunately maybe I was unlucky ?
I painted the grey tint over my red , blue and grey blocks and it came out light brown on all of then. Even the grey ones . So not happy as I cannot use it .

Our Grey stain is a warm grey shade, carefully colour-matched to the greys produced by several block paving manufacturers. However, as there can be variations between different manufacturers, it will not match every type of grey block perfectly. This is why we always recommend using a sample pot to test the colour on your specific blocks before committing to a full application. When you found the colour wasn’t what you expected, we provided a sample pot of the Charcoal shade free of charge, which we understand was a better match for your blocks. The issue with the colour was due to colour selection and not testing the shade to ensure it matched your particular blocks prior to application, rather than a fault with the product itself. We genuinely want all our customers to be satisfied with their purchases, and we’re here to help if you need any further assistance.
Block paving stain
Excellent product, has bought my paving back to life. The once faded pavers are now a lovely dark grey again just like when they were 1st laid. The product is very easy to use. I would recommend it.
