The king STONELUX THE BEST
Absolutely marvellous I will be getting more much better than I thought it would but my garden ornament my husband powered wash them and they were a mess now they look bran new like they were just bought thank you so much
Good product, poor container
The paint is good quality and provides an authentic stone finish. The only disappointment was the plastic container. It was so flimsy the lid broke trying to get it off. Considering the paint is incredibly expensive, I would have expected better packaging.
Bought again
I have used this product before on exterior stone windowsills. It is perfect and still looks good after 18 months. I am going to use it on the other sills now.
I could say that this is very good paint…
But that, wouldn’t do it justice. This is without a shadow of doubt, “ the new boy on the block “, setting a standard of excellence that others will have to follow, if they want to stay in business. I used the ‘ antique stone ‘ shade on a brand new reconstituted stone fire surround. Primed it. And applied 3 coats of paint over 3 days. The result is stunning. Applying the paint was easy, no runs, total coverage. Very little odour. And to those who think that it is expensive, I would say. No, it’s not, for what you will get in terms of result.
Happy with result
We bought 50 grey. When we opened the tins for the primer and top coats they looked a shade of lilac, so we were a bit worried. However, both the primer and top coat went on very well. We bought this to renovate two outdoor steps on our bungalow door than barely sees any use. We bought an ex rental that had not been maintained for years. The steps were in a sorry state. They had been painted badly by the previous tenant and were peeling, with a crack running along the width of each step. We filled in the cracks with epoxy resin but there was about a two inch length that was impossible to fill properly. We applied two coats of primer and three coats of top coat and the steps look good. The remaining crack has disappeared with the paint filling it in. The final look is a darkish shade of grey. The paint was easy to work with, using the type of brushes, as specified. We have no brush marks. It’s two days since we finished painting and we are currently having a thunderstorm, we will see how they look after it fairs up. It cost us £97 for a 2.5 litre tin of top coat and the primer. This was far more than we needed, but no smaller tins seemed available. It is expensive, but if the coating is durable and long lasting, then it will be worth the money, only time will tell.

Great. Once I got used to the texture of the paint (it's gritty), it looked fab on.
