Stonelux Pointing Mix is a high-performance, acrylic-based mix specifically formulated for facing the surface of joints to create a natural stone effect finish. Designed to enhance the appearance of existing joints, it blends seamlessly with surrounding stone or blockwork.
Developed and manufactured in the UK, it provides a strong yet flexible finish with minimal shrinkage, UV stability, and weather resistance. The ready-mixed formula allows for quick and easy application, saving you time and money on every project. Available in 48 natural stone shades for excellent colour matching.

PREPARATION:
- Preparation the Joint: Ensure the joint is clean, dry, and free from loose material. If using on existing masonry, rake out the joint to a depth of at least 10mm. For new jointing, leave a 10mm gap for the Pointing Mix to adhere properly.
- Stabilise the Substrate: Apply a suitable stabilising solution to the prepared joint surface before application.
APPLICATION
- Masking: Apply masking tape to both sides of the joint to ensure clean edges.
- Applying the Mix: Using a pointing trowel, apply Pointing Mix™ directly from the tub at no more than 15mm deep. Press firmly into the joint to achieve an even fill.
- Finishing: Trowel over the joint to smooth and shape as desired.

SIMPLY STONE
SIMPLY STONE™ contains high-quality ground stone to create an authentic matt stone finish that compliments both traditional and contemporary designs. The uniform texture and colour provides a warm and inviting natural look that maintains all the class and character of traditional stonework.
STONE FLECKS
The same beautiful textured finish as SIMPLY STONE™, but with additional stone flecks for a more naturally speckled appearance. STONE FLECKS™ creates a stone finish full of depth that will add immense character, warmth and authenticity to any project.
ANTIQUED STONE
A classic stone finish that contains natural ground stone, combined with large stone flecks to create a simulated aged stone appearance. The prominence of the flecks provides the appearance of stonework that has been naturally altered by the passage of time, for a worn rustic feel with vintage charm.
SMOOTH STONE
The least textured of our stone finishes acquires its elegant stone appearance from natural stone flecks. Creates a matt stone effect finish that is naturally lighter in texture, uniform in colour and has a soft appearance that is pleasing to both the eye and touch.
