SURFACE PREPARATION
Prepare all surfaces well. Ensure the surface is clean, sound and dry.
BRUSH APPLICATION
Mix well before use and agitate frequently during use. Apply using a brush (we recommend a 2" brush for most bricks and a smaller 0.5" brush for mortar joints. Additional coats can be applied immediately to achieve a darker shade (do not apply further coats once dry). A lighter finish can be produced by diluteing with water to maximum 50:50 ratio. Overlapping brush strokes can result in shade variations.
APPLICATION TIPS
- Test the colour on a discreet area before starting your project and allow to thoroughly dry
- Drain any excess tint from your brush before applying to the brick to keep drips to a minimum
- Tint bricks in a random pattern rather than a row, to avoid a light to dark effect accross the row
- Keep some clean water to hand to quickly clean up any spills
Composition

- Adheres to a wide range of substrates including: brick, masonry, mortar, concrete, stone, wood, MDF, GRC, fibreglass, pre-painted surfaces, tiles, resin and more.

- Resistant to fading, chipping and peeling.
- Easy to clean with mid detergent and water.
Coverage and Application
- Covers up to 7.5m² per litre (per coat), varying by substrate and color.
- Apply with brush, foam roller, or spray.
Drying Time
- Touch-dry and re-coatable in 2-3 hours. Weather resistant in 72 hours. Fully cured in 7 to 14 days.

- Preparation: Before starting your project, ensure the surface is clean, sound, and dry. If you're working on pre-painted or glossy surfaces, sand them to create a suitable key for the paint. Any damage should be repaired with a suitable filler.
- Application: Stir Brick Coating well before use. Apply using an economy natural bristled brush, foam roller, or spray equipment. Full coverage is typically achieved with three coats. Some original brick shading may be retained with fewer coats, allowing for various aesthetic preferences. Be careful to avoid overspreading and
refrain from over-brushing or rolling. If brush marks remain visible, finish the surface with stippling. Allow 2-3 hours of drying time between each coat. Allow 2-3 hours of drying time between each coat. - Spraying: If you choose to spray the paint, use a minimum nozzle size of 1.8mm. The paint can be diluted with no more than 20% water for spraying applications.
- Finishing: After applying the final coat, ensure that the paint is fully dry before touching or applying any pressure to the surface. The paint should be touch dry before applying subsequent coats.
The final colour of Brick Tint depends on the original substrate colour and its porosity. Colours displayed on screen may vary due to the limitations of digital representation and individual display settings.
